| 2006-07-18 EasyMiNT 1.6
|  EasyMiNT has finally been updated in order to support the latest CVS versions of FreeMiNT/XaAES! The new update includes the packages for FreeMiNT, XaAES and also Teradesk. If you never been into MiNT, this program can be described a standalone installer for SpareMiNT RPM-packages. In other words, a good introduction to MiNT :)
- You can choose now between FreeMiNT 1.15 and 1.16
- New versions of XaAES and Teradesk could be installed
- Added lp.xdd which creates a printer device under /dev
- Update of the rpm packages basic, standard, devel, libs, net
- RAW partition support added again

| 2006-07-16 XaAES documentation now online!
|  As was mentioned in last news update below, we have been working on performing a HTML-conversion of the XaAES documentation. This project is now finished an the current documentation can now be accessed on this XaAES portal. Thanks to everybody who has been helping out with suggestions, feedback and everything else. Special thanks to Odd Skancke, Lonny Pursell, Ingo Schmidt, Denis Huget and Martin Byttebier. Note that at this time the documentation does not cover the details of the configuration file since that is an area that is about to undergo radical changes. To read it, go here:

UPDATE: Since the documentation was based on a more current binary than the one on this site, a new binary-only update has been added to the download page. Keep in mind that if you are updating from and older version of XaAES (or installing from scratch) you should first make sure that you have the files from the alpha release of 2006-04-08.

| 2006-07-09 XaAES at NAS2006
| During the recent NAS2006 which was held in Gothenburg, the main XaAES developer Odd Skancke (aka Ozk) was present. Several of the visitors were already using XaAES and Ozk was helpful with installation and configuration tips. A first draft of the XaAES documentation was also made available at NAS, a couple of manuals were printed to paper. Those were free to visitors. The aim is to do a conversion to HTML in order to have XaAES documentation up on this website too. For more information and pictures from NAS, go here:
